Close loss for the Lions

Calgary, AB- The Men's Volleyball team was hungry for another win this evening after beating the Medicine Hate Rattlers early this week. Coming off of a win, gave the men's team serious momentum going into the game, this Saturday night.

Both teams were evenly matched with all sets within 5 points. The Lethbridge college Kodiaks had great contributions from a couple of their players including #14 Nolan Moes with 13 kills and also #24 Jackson Gaehring with 12 kills. Ambrose's team had terrific contributions from many of their players as well, including #7 Nicholas Jabusch with 7 kills, #11 Joshua Nickel with 9 kills and an impeccable perforamnce by #13 Kade Miller with 17 kills! Three other players contributed 3 kills to the game including #3 Benjamin Brouwer, #9 Emmitt Juul-Hansen and #17 George Zapach.

The player of the game for the Ambrose Lions was #9 Emmitt Juul-Hansen for his outstanding 36 assists, 3 kills, 2 digs and leading the teams with his setting. The kodiaks player of the game was Libero #5 Malcolm Fisher.

Ambrose looks ahead to traveling next week for three games, two against medicine Hat and one vs. Briercrest. And the Kodiaks will play Olds College on Thursday.
