Female Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!
Andrijana Bokan - WBB
Andrijana Bokan, a fourth year post hailing from Bijeljina, Bosnia and Hercegovina, showed out this past weekend against the Lakeland College Rustlers and the Keyano College Rustlers. She totalled an impressive 34 points, and 25 rebounds over the course of the weekend, with a double double of 20 and 17 against the Huskies. This dominant performance earned her player of the game honours and was exactly what this Lions team needed to boost their confidence as they go into their final game of the first semester. Her success pushed the Lions win streak to three games.

Male Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!
Amir Rezaei - MVB
Amir Rezaei has been an incredible addition to the Lions MVB team this year. The second year setter had an impressive 54 assists over six sets this weekend, along with siz digs and a kill. His skills proved a necessity on the floor in a dominant three set win over the Lakeland College Rustlers Friday night, followed by another great showing in a highly competitive battle Saturday. The Australia native finished his first semester dawning Ambrose colours with 227 assists (5th in the ACAC), 30 digs, and three blocks.
