Hard Fought First Win of the Semester to the Ambrose Lions

Calgary, AB - The Ambrose Lions hosted the Olds College broncos this Friday night in the Lions den and a great game of basketball it was. The Lions were hungry for their first win of the semsester and both teams exhibited strength for the win of this game with lots of physical plays for the ball. The teams were neck and neck for the whole game showing competativness on both sides. At the half, the score was wihtin 5 points with 41-38 for both teams. 

There was some impeccable play by both teams. #13 Mobin Ali, from the Olds College Broncos had a strong night, scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Teammate #5 Tyreik Lennox was not far behind with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. 

Ambrose had great contributions from multiple players including #3Linden Jackson with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. #14 Isaac Amsing with a double double of 25 points and 12 rebounds. He also played fair and had 7 assists. It was a special night for #10 Isaac Gray as he not only had a double double with 24 points and 11 rebounds, but he also scored his career 1000th point. Which was amazing.

Players of the game were, for the broncos, #5 Tyreik Lennox and for the lions, #14 Isaac Amsing. The teams look forward to tomorrow evening where they face each other once again.
