Ambrose Lions Home Opener Loss to the Old's College Broncos

Big night for the Ambrose Lions in their season home opener, taking on the Olds College Broncos this Friday evening. The atmosphere was immaculate with the crowd roaring and with both team putting in outstanding effort in their season opener games, with killer drive and athleticism as both teams were excitedly taking the pitch after a long break.

The game had a very quiet first half with a late goal during the couple minutes of extra time at the end of the first half by #7, Allan Attokkaran of the Broncos. The Lions move into the second half, losing 1-0.

The end of the second half was filled with excitement as the Olds college broncos took wind by scoring 4 goals in the second half, and three of them being within 15 minutes of each other. #3 Nigel Stebanuk had an impeccable performance by scoring 3 goals, alongside his teammate, #14 Armando Rodriquez scoring one goal and assisting another.

Players of the game were awarded to #2 Nathan Yeung from the Ambrose Lions and #7 Allan Attokkaran from Olds.

The final score of the game was 5-0 for the Broncos.

Both teams look forward to their next matches with Ambrose playing SAIT at Home on Wednesday and Olds Traveling to Lethbridge the same weekend.
