Ambrose Lions take home their First Victory of 2022

Calgary, AB- The Ambrose Lions came out strong and stayed strong, this Wednesday night, taking on the Medicine hat Rattlers. The Lions being ranked 5th in the south over the 7th place Rattlers, were favored to win and they did in an easy 3-0 set win.

The victory came quick for the Lions with 3 sets won over the Rattlers who never scored over 20 points. Great performances came from both teams. The Rattlers had two players getting 4 kills tonight, #7, Jaxson Bos and also from #3 Nathan Chernik. The Lions had great contributions from multiple players on the team including #11Joshua Nickel, with 6 kills, #7 Nicholas Jabusch and #15 Nikita Marchenkov, both with 5 kills and #4 Kade Miller with 4 kills, 2 blocks and 2 digs, giving him the player of the game. The player of the game from the Rattlers was #15 Josh Penner with 3 kills.

The Lions head into the weekend to play Lethbridge college and the Rattlers will look forward to this weekend where they take on the Olds college broncos.
