Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions are still looking for their first win of 2022 as they host the Lethbridge Kodiaks who came into this game on a 7-game winning streak. The Kodiaks took a 1-point lead into halftime, as the Lions gave them a good fight. However, the Kodiaks were able to hold onto their lead and pull out the victory, narrowly defeating the Lions by a score of 81-77 and extending their winning streak to 8 games.
The Kodiaks had an excellent game from Courtney Deemter (#9) who scored 33 points to go with her 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and game-high 8 steals. Paige Goertzen (#14) had a great game for the Lions, scoring 18 points, 20 rebounds, and 5 assists.
