Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions hosted the Lethbridge Kodiaks on Friday night in a game that was incredibly close through the first half. At halftime, the Lions held a 1-point lead, but the were no match for the Kodiaks in the second half and the Lions lost by a score of 86-72. The Kodiaks outscored the Lions 44-29 in the second half, securing their victory.
The Kodiaks had a really balanced game from most of their team, with 4 players scoring 10 or more points including Orin Porter (#2) who scored 15 points to go with 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Linden Jackson (#3) had another excellent game for the Lions, scoring a game-high 27 points, as well as contributing 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.
The Player of the game for the Kodiaks was Orin Porter (#2) for his impressive game overall. The Player of the game for the Lions was Linden Jackson (#3) who did his best to keep the Lions in the game despite their losing effort.
