Lions Beat Trojans in Straight Sets

In a commanding performance on the volleyball court, the Ambrose Lions showcased their dominance against the SAIT Trojans in a straight-set victory.

Right from the onset, Ambrose University set the tone for the match, displaying precision and skill in the first set. They surged ahead with a convincing 25-14 win, establishing an early lead and asserting their control over the game. The Trojans fought hard but struggled to match the Lions' formidable gameplay.

As the match progressed to the second set, the Lions continued their relentless display of prowess, maintaining their momentum and securing another dominant 25-14 victory. The Trojans battled fiercely, but Ambrose's cohesive teamwork and strategic execution proved too formidable to overcome.

Entering the third set, the Trojans sought to rally and stage a comeback. However, the Lions remained unfazed, demonstrating exceptional consistency and determination. Ambrose University displayed their full range of skills, shutting down the Trojans' attempts to turn the tide, ultimately closing out the set with a resounding 25-18 win, sealing the match with a clean 3-0 sweep.

Jaxson Thys from Sait had a great game with 10 kills. Both Ambrose setters had great games with a number of assists. 

The lions finish this game with a 3-5 record and take on SAIT the following evening.
