In the highly anticipated home opener volleyball match, the Lethbridge College Kodiaks faced off against the Ambrose Lions in a women's showdown. The gym was packed with loud lions fans and the atmosphere was electric. The Ambrose Lions dominated the game, securing a resounding victory with a score of 3 sets to nothing. The Lions showcased their prowess on the court, delivering a stellar performance and thrilling their home crowd with an impressive win. #11, Faith Solecki form the Ambrose Lions had a stellar opening game with 5 kills and 4 digs. Bethany Johnson led the team with 7 total kills. From the Kodiaks, #9 Irina Korovina had a great game with 8 kills!
The final was 3-0 for the lions. The lions play Red Deer Polytechnic next friday night in their home gym, their record starts off 1-0!
