In a thrilling showdown between the SAIT Trojans and the Ambrose Lions, the volleyball court witnessed a gripping five-set match that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Ambrose came out on top with three sets won. 

The opening set was a closely contested battle and Ambrose came out strong, securing a 26-28 win against the Trojans, setting the tone for a highly competitive match. The lions, dominated the second set with a score of 25-14.

The third set witnessed an intense back-and-forth as both teams fought relentlessly for each point. The Trojans displayed exceptional resilience, edging out Ambrose with a narrow 26-24 victory, regaining their momentum. The Torjans took the fourth set 25-23 with the game going back and forth, point for point. The final set was going to be a close one.

With the tension soaring and the crowd rallying behind their respective teams, the fifth set unfolded in an electrifying fashion. The Trojans and the Lions battled fiercely, trading blows and refusing to give an inch. In a nail-biting conclusion, Ambrose University emerged victorious in the fifth set with a score of 17-15, clinching the match with a hard-fought 3-2 win over SAIT.

#6 LeeAnne Arnott had an exception game with 17 kills and 8 digs. #6 Lauren Huntley finished the game with 17 kills and Elise Wagner had an exceptional defensive game with 17 digs.

Both teams will play each other the following night at SAIT. The lions finish this game with a 5-3 record.
