Female Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!
The smallest volleyball player in the ACAC had the biggest impact for her team this past weekend. Her drive and tenacity to never give up on any ball on defense is what pushed the Lions towards a sweep this weekend against the Medicine Hat Rattlers. The fourth year libero earned the first player of the game recognition for her career on Saturday Night after two assists and 23 digs. Emilie even managed to add a kill to her stat sheet giving her a 1.000 attack percentage.

Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!
Noah Verhoef - MVB
His attacks from the left could not be stopped by Rattlers defence in their two game competition this past weekend. Not only did he have 24 kills, the third year passed 400 carrer kills! Along side this already impressive performance, he managed to add three assists, one service ace, 10 digs, four blocks and 29 points to his stats. This earned him player of the game on Saturday night and was a driving force in the teams three-set sweep over Medicine Hat.
