Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!

Elisa Wilde - WSOC

Elisa has come a long way to make an impact with our Ambrose Lions Women’s Soccer Team.

To Ambrose Soccer Fans, Elisa’s prowess is quite evident on game days. This past weekend, another one of her European style free-kicks helped claw the Lions from behind to earn another point in an exciting draw vs the Augustana Vikings.

Elisa’s sense of humour, genuine caring nature, and on-field work ethic, helped her serve as a quiet leader this past week. This was a contribution to her teammates confidence and preparedness for the intense sprint to the finish, as the season is nearing its close.

Male Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!

Steven Canon-Almagro - MSOC

Steven was solid and consistent for the entire 90 minutes against SAIT. He was a leader through how he directed our midfield and how he played. He broke up & disrupted a lot of their attacks, while creating moments for us to get forward. He was one of our lone bright spots in a difficult game, where we didn’t get the result. Steven’s performance was deserving of more last Friday night.
