Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!

Larkin Himmelreich - WSOC

It can be most challenging for an athlete while waiting to recover from injury.  Patience is not easy to come by.  It takes a great deal of diligence, perseverance, and determination to commit to healing.

Impressively, Ambrose Lions’ net-minder, Larkin Himmelreich, displayed a passion and purpose this week as she prepared for her return to ACAC action.  The young American, was back on the practice field, seamlessly.  The support from her teammates was a welcome pillar in the Psychology Major’s pursuit of excellence as the Lions ventured into the last weekend of the Season.

Larkin’s return was made complete with two stellar performances, as our Lions Women’s Soccer Team set a new program record for most  goals scored in a single Outdoor Season.

Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!

Brady De Castro - MSOC

Brady added an assist and a goal this past weekend to his already impressive career totals in ACAC. Brady was a force in our team’s attack. He’s always a threat when on the ball, and he’s always capable of moments of magic! This weekend was no different. Brady scored a brilliant set-piece goal directly from the corner against Olds- Olimpico! Brady’s confidence, composure and focus were on full display this weekend, and for much of the season. It was a bittersweet ending to this season with Brady scoring on his Senior Night in a tough last minute loss on Sunday.
