Calgary, AB - The Men's volleyball home opener was a hit! The stand were packed with fans and alumni in this first season game. Both Medicine and the Ambrose Lions were looking to start their season with a win.
The lions took the win with a 4-1 victory over the Rattlers. The secon set was a nail biter with a score of 25-23 for the rattlers. The final set was a big win for ambrose with a 25-14 win over the rattlers. Rattlers player Jordan McKee had a great game with 12 kills and 3 digs. A highlight from the lions was Nikita Marchenkov with 14 kills and 8 digs.
Players of the game were #6 Jordan McKee For the Rattlers and # 17 Isaac Karstad for the Lions.
Lions travel to Medicine hat to take the rattlers on a second time.
