Lions Sweep in Road Win

The Lions were on the road Saturday, November 18th and took on the Lakeland College Rustlers. While falling to Keyano in 4 sets the previous night, the lions were hungry for a wi. They came out strong and got what they wanted, beating the #2 in the North, the Rustlers, 3-0.

The Lions came out strong in the game and took the first set, 25-15 with 12 kills. The lions continued their dominance and took their energy into the second set, winning 25-22. The third set was 25-19 for the lions with 14 kills and only 2 errors.

Some stellar performances that came from the lions were #15 Nikita Marchenkov with 15 kills and 10 digs. #4 Noah Verhoef with 13 kills and #9 Emmitt Juul-Hansen with 23 assists. #17 Isaac Karstad led the team in digs with 2.

The lions finish this match with a 2-5 record and look ahead to play SAIT this Friday in the Lions Den at 6&8pm.
