Bio

Jose is going into his second year coaching at Ambrose University. His first year was extremely successful with winning ACAC South Coach of the Year and also recieved the CCAA National Coach of the year. His team also performed their best season in for Men's Volleyball in ACAC history.

Jose is a volleyball coach with more than 25 years of experience. He started coaching at the end of the eighties; he first attended the national coaching courses and then did a diploma in Sports Training (specialty: Volleyball) at the University of Leipzig (Germany) where he also obtained FIVB international coach levels 1 and 2; Later he took several courses in Italy until he obtained FIPAV coach level 3, the highest degree awarded by the Italian Federation. Throughout my career, developed in Peru, Saint Lucia, the United States, Italy and Canada, he has worked with national teams, regional teams, professional Serie A teams, university teams, youth teams, etc.

In the academic framework, he has a master's degree in Sports Training and Sports Management, as well as a bachelor's degree in Education with a major in Physical Education and a professional license in Physical Education. Currently, Jose is a university professor at the Business Faculty of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) where he teaches in the Sport Business and Administration program.
