Calgary, AB - The atmosphere was electric during the women's volleyball home opener. The stand were packed with fans and alumni in this first season game. Both Medicine and the Ambrose Lions were looking to start their season with a win.
The lions took the win with a 3-0 victory over the Rattlers. The second set was a far win with 13-25 for ambrose and the rest were all within, 7 points. Rattlers player Anica Haberstock had a great game with 6 kills and 5 digs. A highlight from the lions was Maddy Williscroft with 11 kills and 6 digs.
Players of the game were #1 Olivia Jacobson and Lions player #2 Taylor Hart.
Lions travel to Medicine hat to take the rattlers on a second time.
