Close loss for the Lions

Calgary, AB- The Men's Volleyball team was hungry for another win this evening after beating the Medicine Hate Rattlers early this week. Coming off of a win, gave the men's team serious momentum going into the game, this Saturday night.
Ambrose Lions take home their First Victory of 2022

Calgary, AB- The Ambrose Lions came out strong and stayed strong, this Wednesday night, taking on the Medicine hat Rattlers. The Lions being ranked 5th in the south over the 7th place Rattlers, were favored to win and they did in an easy 3-0 set win.
Ambrose Lions host Red Deer Polytechnic in search of their first win of 2022.

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose University Lions hosted the Red Deer Kings on Friday night, and the Kings came away with the victory, winning 3 of the 4 sets played. The final result does not do justice to how close this match was, as 3 of the 4 sets were decided by 4 or less points. The Kings won the first two sets, but the Lions avoided the straight-set-sweep by winning the 3rd set 25-21. The Lions gave the 4th set their all but ended up losing it to the Kings by a score of 29-27.
Broncos Secure Victory Over the Lions in Final Home Game of the Semester

Calgary, AB- The final games of the semester wrapped up this Friday evening. The Ambrose Lions were hungry for their first home game victory over the Olds College Broncos, but unfortunately came up short after their win on the road the previous night. The close match the previous evening, set the night up for a close rematch, Friday afternoon.

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions men’s volleyball team was looking for their first win of the season as they hosted the Briercrest Clippers on Saturday night. The Lions played hard and won the first two sets by a narrow margin of 25-27 (AMB) and 24-26 (AMB)
Ambrose Falls to Briercrest in Season Opener

Calgary, AB- Ambrose Lion's volleyball home openers were happening this evening, Friday November 12th. The Ambrose Lion's welcomed the Briercrest Clippers into the lions den this evening, showing some determination and strength, from both teams. The Briecrest clippers came out strong and took all three sets to win them the match, 3-0.
Multi-Sport Athlete, Adrian Strandberg Takes Home Mel Sylvester Leadership Award

Adrian Strandberg is one of the few athletes that has been privileged enough to have the ability to star on two of the Ambrose ACAC teams in the same season. While few have such an opportunity, fewer still are able to provide the leadership and impact he was able to have on both teams.
