Close win for the Lions Friday Evening

Calgary, AB- The Ambrose Lions hosted the Red Deer Kings this past Friday night and what a game it was. The Kings lead the first half, out scoring the Lions 42-32. But it was not enough with a strong final push from the Ambrose Lions, winning them the game, 87-81.
Late push from the Lions not enough to overcome the Kodiaks

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose University Lions hosted the Lethbridge College Kodiaks on Friday as the Lions look to clinch their spot in the ACAC playoffs. The Kodiaks came out strong with a 17-point lead at halftime. The Lions made up some ground in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as they lost by a final score of 80-73.
Hard Fought First Win of the Semester to the Ambrose Lions

Calgary, AB - The Ambrose Lions hosted the Olds College broncos this Friday night in the Lions den and a great game of basketball it was. The Lions were hungry for their first win of the semsester and both teams exhibited strength for the win of this game with lots of physical plays for the ball. The teams were neck and neck for the whole game showing competativness on both sides. At the half, the score was wihtin 5 points with 41-38 for both teams.
Ambrose Lions host the Lethbridge Kodiaks in hopes of ending their 3-game winning streak

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions hosted the Lethbridge Kodiaks on Friday night in a game that was incredibly close through the first half. At halftime, the Lions held a 1-point lead, but the were no match for the Kodiaks in the second half and the Lions lost by a score of 86-72. The Kodiaks outscored the Lions 44-29 in the second half, securing their victory.
Ambrose Lions search for their first win of 2022 against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions played their first game of 2022 Saturday night against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers. The Lions outscored the Rattlers 17-15 in the the first quarter, but the Rattlers outscored the Lions in every quarter that followed, ultimately taking the match by a score of 84-63.
Ambrose Lions still searching for their first home win of the season after loss to St. Mary’s.

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions were hoping to earn their first home win of the season Friday night against the St. Mary’s Lightning but came up short as St. Mary’s took the match by a score of 78-65. The game was quite close throughout as the Lightning led by 7 points at half-time, but they outscored the Lions 15-9 in the fourth quarter on the way to a well-deserved victory.
Trojans Secure Victory over Lions

Calgary, AB – The Ambrose Lions Men’s Basketball team played their first home game of the season on Saturday afternoon but could not pull out the victory against the SAIT Trojans. The Lions started strong, leading the game by 6 points after the first quarter, but the Trojans dominated the game from then on to win the game 96-82.
