Lions Lose on Seniors Night

After winning in Lethbridge, the Ambrose Lions played host to the Lethbridge College Kodiaks for their final home game of the season. The Lions celebrated Seniors Night to recognize their graduating captain #6 Maddy Willscroft.
Queens Sweep Lions at Ambrose

After a nailbiter match in Red Deer on Friday Night that the Lions eked out a win in the fifth set the Queens looked to get some payback in the Lions Den.
Lions Lose Second Straight

Following their second loss of the season the Ambrose Lions took on the 8-2 Keyano College Huskies at home on Saturday night. Keyano came into the evening having won their last 6 games. The Lions were without leading blocker Gracee Fehr for the second straight game.
Lions Swept in First Game Back

The Ambrose Lions took on the Lakeland College Rustlers in their return to action after the winter break. Both teams came into their Friday night matchup with near perfect records though the Rustlers held an edge, only dropping 3 sets total over halfway through the season.

The 10-1 Ambrose Lions took on the SAIT Trojans for the second time in as many nights on Saturday. The Lions were looking to repeat their victory in straight sets from the previous night.
Eagles Top Lions in Matchup of Undefeated Teams

The Ambrose Lions and The King’s University Eagles matched up on Saturday night ranked 6th and 7th nationally in the CCAA rankings as each team sported undefeated records. The Lions were coming in hot after a 3-1 victory last night against the Concordia Thunder.

On Friday evening of November 11, the Ambrose Lions took on the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder. The Lions came into Friday night sporting a perfect 8-0 record this season to lead the South division. Meanwhile the Thunder sit at 5th in the North at 2-4.
